I am not the only founder of my company and I have a business partner: can I apply?
We accept applications from companies led by several co-founders. However, in the context of the application file, the company can only be represented by one person. You can specify your partners in the team description.
What is the deadline for receiving an application?
The call for demonstrations closed on February 28, 2021. Candidates preselected at the end of this stage have received a file to be completed before May 3, 2021.
For all the candidates who could not participate in this second cohort, a new competition will be organized at the end of the year 2021. Remember to register on our social networks to receive the information that we will transmit at that time.
In which language can I complete my application form?
The authorized languages are French and English. Excel forms are available in your candidate area in these two languages.

What defines a member of the diaspora?
As part of the first session, the competition is open:
applicants from the diaspora of the project partner countries residing in one of the member states of the European Union.
members of the diaspora from these countries resettled in one of the partner countries for less than three years on the date of filing.
Which countries are eligible for the program?
Applicants must belong to the diaspora of one of the following six countries and implement their project there: Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, or Cameroon.
Pre-registered candidates from other African countries can also present their project.
They will benefit from support that will allow them to identify the weak points of their project, to deepen entrepreneurial ideas, to be informed about the

What are the conditions for participating in the program?
Eligible projects are business creation or development projects of less than three years:
worn by members of the African diaspora in partner countries, and
established in one of the partner countries of the project or whose planned activity concerns both continents.

What are the program selection criteria?
The projects are evaluated according to the criteria below:
Quality, motivation, experience and skills of project leaders or managers.
Analysis of the need, quality and relevance of the proposed response, knowledge and size of the market.
Match between the skills and qualifications of the promoter (s) and the activity planned or carried out.
Product or service offered and potential for growth in the country concerned.
Quality and realism of financial forecasts.
Quality of the financing solution and the three-year financing plan.
Potential for job creation in the country concerned.
For companies already in existence for more than a year, figures on past activity will also be subject to a rating based on criteria of economic viability (income statement) and solvency (balance sheet).
